"Our homes are our sanctuaries, and our possessions are very personal."
Jennifer Marcus
From an early age, I had a knack for making rooms more functional. I always enjoyed improving spaces without realizing this was a unique skill.
I would visit a friend’s home and secretly rearrange their furniture. I thought if we just tweaked a few things, the space would look and function so much better. When I offered my advice to friends, I always got the same reactions: “Really? I never thought of that!” or “That’s a great idea!” However, they usually lacked the time, skill, or confidence to do it themselves.
Over the years, friends continued to ask me for help managing their moves, organizing, assembling furniture, or designing new spaces. The common solution for home problems was “Just call Jenny!”
My passion for interiors led me to study interior design at Indiana University. I began my career designing retail visual displays for the largest department stores in the US, then moved to merchandising collections and installing new shops for a women’s clothing manufacturer in major department stores. When the pandemic hit, I pivoted to building concierge emergency care centers nationwide.
Recently, I returned to my passion for helping people solve home organization challenges by joining Closet Factory New Jersey North as a design consultant. I find great reward in creating solutions for other home environments. I never judge. Our homes are our sanctuaries, and our possessions are very personal.
I love working with my clients and never get tired of seeing their joy when their home projects exceed their expectations. Sometimes, you just don’t know where to start or how to make it work. That is where I come in. I can be your confidante, design advisor, and declutter expert! If you want to create a space that truly reflects you, let’s connect!
